Thread one 2mm round : crystal golden shadow onto a 1" headpin. Pass this through the end hole of the spacer bar. Thread on 9 more 2mm rounds. Bend end of headpin slightly to ensure beads do not drop off whilst threading up the other headpins.
Thread one 2mm round : crsytal copper onto a 1" headpin. Pass through second hole of spacer bar, thread on 11 more 2mm rounds. Bend headpin slightly.
Cut the head off the 2" headpin. Using flat nosed pliers bend over7mm of headpin to form a right angle. Using round nosed pliers grab the end and roll into a loop. Do not close fully. Pass this headpin through the centre hole of the spacer bar then thread on 13 rounds : crystal golden shadow, bending end of headpin as before.
Repeat second step (threading it through the 4th hole on spacer bar.)
Repeat first step (threading it through the last hole on spacer bar.)
Squeeze a small puddle of glue onto scrap paper. "Unbend" first headpin, slide down 2 beads. Using an old headpin or off cut of wire, apply a small amount of glue to the space between the beads. Slide the 2 beads back up the headpin making sure all the beads are tight up against the spacer bar. Dab a tiny amount of glue around the bottom bead.
Repeat for the other headpins.
Hook the eyepin onto the loop you made on the central headpin. Close loop fully using round nosed pliers. Thread a 6mm round : crystal copper onto an eyepin and turn a loop as before. Hook this onto the earwire and close.
Using side cutter pliers, cut off excess headpin wire close to bottom bead of each dangle.
Repeat all of above for second earring.
Top Tip!
The dangles can be made longer if you wish. If so use all 2" headpins, just make sure there is a difference of 2 beads between each headpin. This is a good way to use up the left over beads. These extra 2mm rounds also make excellent pretty little spacers for other projects, or try placing one each side of the 6mm round bead on the eyepin of the chandelier earrings.
